The role
Linear is hiring an Analytics Engineer for its small Data team, which supports Product, Engineering and GTM with pipelines, warehouse, dashboards and analysis. Open to candidates based in North America; Linear is remote-first.
What you will do
- Turn questions from Product and GTM teams into metrics, models, analyses and workflows
- Build and maintain dbt models and pipelines for product, customer and business data
- Improve testing, documentation, performance and reliability of the data stack
- Build dashboards and self-service reporting in Metabase and Hex
- Operationalize data through reverse ETL and work with GTM Engineering on scoring and automations
- Use LLMs and coding agents to speed up development, analysis and testing
What they ask for
- 8+ years in analytics engineering, data analytics or data engineering
- Exceptional SQL and hands-on dbt with a modern cloud data warehouse
- Record of owning data projects end to end
- Strong data modeling judgment
- Experience working with technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable using LLMs and coding agents daily
- Based in North America
