The role
GitLab is hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer for its Runway team, running the Kubernetes platform, GitOps workflows and Terraform that GitLab's engineering teams deploy on. The role is remote and open to applicants in Canada and the United States.
What you will do
- Operate and upgrade production Kubernetes clusters
- Own and extend Argo CD GitOps workflows
- Write and maintain reusable Terraform modules
- Respond to incidents and run post-mortems
- Implement RBAC, network policies and secrets management
What they ask for
- Experience operating Kubernetes in production
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
- Experience with Argo CD or similar GitOps tooling such as Flux
- Proficiency in Terraform, including remote state and module design
