The role
1Password is hiring a developer intern for its Vaults team, helping move file, sync and vault functionality into dedicated backend services. The four-month internship runs January to April 2027 and is remote within Canada and the US.
What you will do
- Help migrate backend functionality into dedicated services
- Implement and test APIs and data-access components
- Write automated tests and support CI/CD improvements
- Assist with monitoring, documentation and troubleshooting
What they ask for
- Interest in backend services and APIs
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD or observability tools such as Datadog is a plus
- Available January to April 2027
- Based in Canada or the US
