The role
Mercury is hiring an engineering manager for its Bank Accounts team, which builds the core of its depository accounts. Remote within the US or Canada, or in its San Francisco, New York or Portland offices.
What you will do
- Lead 4 to 8 senior engineers on banking services
- Set measurable team objectives
- Partner with product, risk and compliance
- Hire and onboard engineers
What they ask for
- Proven ability to lead a technical team
- Experience with financial, banking or payments systems
- Strong system design judgment
- Experience developing senior engineers
- Familiarity with Haskell and TypeScript, or interest in learning
