The role
Lago is hiring a Frontend Developer to maintain and improve a headless ecommerce storefront built on Shopify Hydrogen. The work is mostly frontend inside an existing custom codebase. Remote in Latin America, the Philippines and Eastern Europe, working 9 AM to 5 PM Central Time.
What you will do
- Maintain and improve the custom Shopify Hydrogen storefront using React and React Router
- Build responsive, accessible interfaces with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Work with the Shopify Storefront API and GraphQL for products, variants, collections and metafields
- Turn business requirements and rough mockups into working ecommerce features
- Work with Storyblok CMS and Algolia search, and support ecommerce analytics and SEO
- Troubleshoot storefront, API and third-party integration issues
What they ask for
- 3+ years of professional experience with Shopify Hydrogen, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and React Router
- Experience building headless ecommerce storefronts
- 3+ years with the Shopify Storefront API and a strong grasp of GraphQL
- Experience with Shopify products, variants, collections and metafields
- Strong debugging skills and experience with third-party integrations
- Ability to work within and improve an existing codebase
- Excellent English and ability to explain constraints to non-technical colleagues
- Located in Latin America, the Philippines or Eastern Europe; available 9-5 Central Time
