1Password is hiring a Junior Security Engineer for its Application Security team, focused on building and maintaining security tooling such as static and dynamic analysis, code scanning and agentic AI solutions. The role is remote within the United States and Canada.
What you will do
- Build and maintain security tooling for static and dynamic analysis and code scanning
- Work on agentic AI security solutions
- Support secure development lifecycle activities like threat modelling
What they ask for
- 0-2+ years of software development experience
- Experience using agentic AI to speed up security workflows
- Experience with internal tool development
- Rust and/or Go, or ability to pick up new languages quickly
- Web application security knowledge such as the OWASP Top 10
- Located in the United States or Canada
