Linear is hiring a Product Engineer to build customer-facing features, including AI-powered functionality, in its product development platform. The team is small and full-stack in TypeScript. Open to candidates based in North America.
What you will do
- Work with founders, product and design to implement new concepts
- Build AI-powered functionality into the core of Linear
- Update the collaborative content editor used across internal surfaces
- Build user-facing features with scalable UI components
- Improve application performance
- Refine development processes to keep velocity high
What they ask for
- 2-5 years building customer-facing products at a software company with a high engineering bar
- Strong React and TypeScript, with full-stack experience (Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL)
- Track record of driving complex end-to-end features with visible impact
- Product sense for UX, speed and polish
- Able to help shape problems without heavy PM support
- Comfortable in a remote, async-first environment
- Based in North America
