The role
The company is hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer on its AI/ML Platform team to build shared ML and LLM tooling and evaluation standards. The role is remote and based in Ontario, British Columbia or Alberta, Canada, with occasional travel.
What you will do
- Research and implement LLM inference and orchestration
- Find uses for small language models through fine-tuning or distillation
- Build ML systems that work at the company scale
- Set standards and tooling for AI/ML evaluations
What they ask for
- 8+ years of applied ML/AI experience owning systems end to end
- Experience building cloud services on AWS, GCP or Azure
- Extensive ML Ops and LLM Ops experience, including evaluation design
- Experience building evals for agents and LLMs
- Experience building multi-turn autonomous agents
