The role
The company is hiring a software engineer for its Distributed Systems testing team, which validates cloud products built on Juju, Terraform, OpenStack and Kubernetes. The role is remote; the posting does not state location limits.
What you will do
- Build automated testing approaches and infrastructure to validate reliability, performance and resilience of cloud orchestration tools
- Make distributed system testing tooling available to engineering teams across the company
- Improve CI pipelines for deploying and testing cloud native products such as Kubeflow
- Deploy, manage and debug distributed systems on clouds and bare metal
- Monitor and report on automated testing, and help advance AI/ML pipelines for analysing test results
What they ask for
- Solid background in modern test processes and strategies
- Experience developing in Python or Go, with strong object-oriented skills
- Working knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and Linux system architecture
- Willingness to travel internationally 2-4 weeks per year
- Nice to have: AI/ML pipelines, data analytics, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS
