The role
The company is placing an AI Automation Specialist with a Gold Coast accounting and advisory firm. The contractor builds AI agents and workflow automations for timesheets, WIP, billing and client communication. About 15 to 20 hours a week, open to Philippines-based candidates.
What you will do
- Build AI agents and automations for accounting, admin and client service processes
- Automate timesheet tracking and reminders, and WIP and draft invoice monitoring
- Create AI-assisted workflows that draft client follow-up emails for team review
- Automate ATO correspondence tracking and information request lists
- Connect AI tools and business systems through APIs and integrations
- Monitor, fix and document workflows
What they ask for
- Proven experience building AI agents and business automations in a live environment
- Hands-on with LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot
- Experience with Make, Zapier, n8n or Power Automate
- Strong grasp of APIs, integrations, structured data and workflow design
- Excellent written English and clear explanations for non-technical users
- Attention to detail with financial and client data
- Available for meetings during core AEST business hours
- Nice to have: Xero or Xero Practice Manager, Microsoft 365 and Outlook automation
