The role
PostHog, a remote-first product analytics company, is hiring a security generalist based in the EU or UK. The person will run security operations, detection pipelines and incident response, and help build internal security tooling and agents.
What you will do
- Triage and tune Wiz alerts so only meaningful findings remain
- Lead security incident response and post-mortems, and build IR runbooks
- Build detection pipelines and close network observability gaps
- Hunt for threats in the AWS environment
- Support the vulnerability disclosure program by triaging researcher reports
What they ask for
- Expert security generalist experience
- Based in the EU or UK
- Experience hardening cloud deployments, especially AWS
- Experience writing semgrep rules and building secure libraries
- Experience leading incident response
- Comfortable with async, autonomous remote work
