The role
Mercury, a fintech company, is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to build data pipelines and dimensional data marts for its AI-native data platform. The role works with Data Science, Product, Engineering and Operations. Open to employees in the US and Canada.
What you will do
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and dimensional data marts with partner teams
- Support development and adoption of in-house agentic tools, including an AI data analyst and a dbt agent
- Support self-service analytics through implementation, education and peer support
- Build data and analytics products needed for Mercury's bank charter
- Contribute to data quality, governance and security strategy and to analytics engineering standards
What they ask for
- 4+ years of analytics or data engineering experience
- Experience with a modern data stack such as Fivetran, Airflow, Snowflake, dbt, Omni and Hex
- Proficient in SQL and working experience with Python
- Experience with dimensional data modeling at scale
- Uses AI agents to speed up work
- Writes readable code with tests and documentation
- Located in the US or Canada
