The role
Mercury is hiring senior backend engineers for its product engineering groups, building banking software for startups. Applicants can work remotely from the US or Canada, or from its San Francisco, New York or Portland offices.
What you will do
- Own and ship product features in a Mercury product group
- Work with designers and product leaders on new experiences
- Make and explain architectural trade-offs
What they ask for
- 3 to 7 years of backend development
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Haskell
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience making and measuring architectural decisions
- Uses AI tools in daily development work
