The role
1Password is hiring a Senior Developer for its Admin Workflows team, which builds workflows that help business administrators set up, manage and enforce 1Password across an organization. The work includes notification systems for administrators. The role is remote within Canada and the US.
What you will do
- Lead architecture, design and implementation of scalable admin notification systems across email and integration channels
- Work with product, design and data to define hypotheses and measurable outcomes
- Balance fast iteration with long-term architecture health and security
- Set the standard in code reviews for quality, performance and security
- Mentor engineers through reviews, design discussions and pairing
What they ask for
- 5+ years of professional software development in a production SaaS environment
- Backend service experience in a modern language such as Go, Node.js, Ruby or Python
- Deep React and/or TypeScript experience in customer-facing web apps
- Ability to work autonomously and influence technical direction across teams
- Product mindset with empathy for customers
- Based in Canada or the US
- Bonus: security practices, Kubernetes, and transactional email at scale (Amazon SES, SendGrid)
