The role
Instacart is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead its Core Picking team, which builds the shopper app picking experience. The role is remote for people living in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia or Nova Scotia.
What you will do
- Lead and develop a team of 10+ engineers
- Drive stability, scalability and extensibility of the picking platform
- Work with engineering, product and retailer leaders on new picking solutions
What they ask for
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years managing engineers, with teams of 15+
- Experience managing managers or scaling a team to 10+ engineers
- Experience with mission-critical, enterprise-grade systems
- Based in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia or Nova Scotia
