The role
Samsara is hiring a Senior Security Operations Engineer to run security incident response, including insider-threat and employee-investigation cases, working remotely. Applicants must live in the Pacific Time Zone of the US or Canada.
What you will do
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate across teams
- Handle HR, legal and compliance-related security cases
- Create and maintain runbooks and automated workflows
What they ask for
- 5+ years in security incident response
- Experience leading incident response and triaging alerts
- SIEM tools for log review
- Cloud architecture and security (AWS, GCP)
- 3+ years on insider threat or employee investigations
- Live in the Pacific Time Zone (US or Canada)
- On-call rotation
