The role
Affirm's Marketing & Privacy Engineering team is hiring a senior frontend engineer for its high-traffic logged-out consumer web experiences and the tagging and measurement that connect them to growth systems. Remote, open only to residents of nine listed Canadian provinces.
What you will do
- Shape the architecture and reliability of high-traffic consumer web experiences
- Build instrumentation and integrations for GTM and server-side GTM, conversion tracking and advertising APIs
- Own and deliver the team's quarterly goals and lead engineers through ambiguity
- Work with product, marketing, analytics and data engineering on consent, cookies and tagging needs
- Support team operations, metrics and on-call
- Set code review and design standards and mentor teammates
What they ask for
- 4+ years developing and architecting web apps with React or Vue
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on web instrumentation and marketing tech: GTM/sGTM, analytics and experimentation platforms, conversion tracking
- Experience designing reliable, performant consumer web systems with consent and cookie considerations
- Ability to plan significant features and make safe changes in a large code base
- Resident in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, PEI or Saskatchewan
