The role
Instacart is hiring a senior software engineer to act as tech lead on its Ads Data Solutions team, which builds off-platform ads, data cleanrooms and taxonomy automation. Remote for US-based candidates.
What you will do
- Lead architecture for off-platform, cleanroom and taxonomy systems
- Co-own the team's technical roadmap
- Mentor L4/L5 engineers as an IC tech lead
- Help define on-call and SLOs
What they ask for
- 8+ years building and operating large-scale backend or data systems
- Experience with Snowflake and AWS
- Workflow orchestration such as Temporal and event-driven design
- Ad-tech, measurement and cleanroom integration experience
- Recent hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools
