The role
Linear is hiring a senior or staff security engineer for hands-on work across vulnerability management, product security testing, incident response and cloud security. The role is remote for candidates based in North America.
What you will do
- Run vulnerability management and the bug bounty program
- Threat model and test new features
- Lead security incident response and postmortems
- Harden cloud and Kubernetes configuration
- Build security tooling and automation
What they ask for
- 5+ years in security engineering
- Depth in at least two of vulnerability management, appsec testing, incident response and cloud security
- Able to read and reason about TypeScript code
- Comfortable in cloud environments, GCP a plus
- Able to lead an incident through postmortem
