The role
Cohere is hiring a senior or staff back-end engineer for Model Vault, its enterprise inference platform covering identity, deployments, metering and billing. The role is based in Canada, and the company is remote-friendly.
What you will do
- Scale backend systems for auth, deployments, billing and metering
- Lead architecture work on identity, payments and usage systems
- Build control-plane services for model deployments
- Build security and privacy into the platform
What they ask for
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals in distributed systems, databases and security
- Production experience in Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust or similar
- Designed and operated large-scale production systems
- Solid grasp of authentication, authorization and tenant isolation
