Affirm is hiring a backend software engineer for its Purchasing Power team, building features for its underwriting platform. The remote role is open to people living in most Canadian provinces.
What you will do
- Break projects into tasks and deliver them in phases
- Work with product, design and analytics on features
- Monitor metrics and take part in on-call
What they ask for
- 1.5+ years as a software engineer
- Backend experience in Python or Kotlin
- Familiar with AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes
- Comfortable working in a large codebase and reviewing code
- Must live in AB, BC, MB, NB, NL, NS, ON, PE or SK
