The role
Mercury, a fintech company, is hiring a software engineer for its Infrastructure team to build the internal platform engineers and AI agents deploy on. Applicants can work remotely from the US or Canada, or from its San Francisco, New York or Portland offices.
What you will do
- Build and extend Mercury's infrastructure platform for engineers and AI agents
- Maintain networking and container orchestration on AWS
- Help product teams with their AWS needs
- Debug Linux and production issues alongside product engineers
What they ask for
- 2+ years of experience with AWS
- 2+ years working in large Terraform codebases
- 2+ years writing code
- At least 2 years writing technical documentation, RFCs and specs
