If you live in the Philippines, you can apply for more remote jobs on our site than people in any other country except the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. On 19 October 2026, Work Remote Jobs listed 1,056 open jobs. Of those, 172 (16%) accept applicants in the Philippines, from 20 employers.
These numbers describe our own listings on 19 October 2026, a curated set, not the whole remote job market.

Two kinds of jobs open to the Philippines
The 172 jobs fall into two groups, and they look very different.
Jobs open worldwide (97). These accept applicants from any country. On our site they are mostly IT roles (81 of the 97), plus 10 data annotation, 4 AI and 2 marketing roles. They also come from few employers: two of them post 85 of the 97. Many ask for skills such as Python, Linux, Go and Kubernetes, and most are mid level or senior.
Jobs that name the Philippines or Asia (75). 71 name the Philippines, and 49 name it as the only country. Four more hire from "Asia" without naming any country. These 75 jobs come from 16 employers, and they are spread across more fields.
If you work in customer service, admin or marketing, start with these 75 jobs. The sections below focus mainly on them.
The Philippines next to other countries
Only three countries are named in more of our listings: the United States (452), Canada (214) and the United Kingdom (77). The Philippines (71) comes fourth, ahead of Poland (42), South Africa (41), and Colombia and India (34 each).
Countries in Asia named most often in remote jobs
Inside Asia, the gap is large. The listings do not say why. Our guess is that many employers already know how to hire and pay people in the Philippines, and that English is widely used at work there.
Several jobs that name the Philippines also name Latin American countries: Colombia in 12, Mexico and Argentina in 11 each, and Brazil in 7.
Which fields hire in the Philippines
Here is how the 75 jobs that name the Philippines or Asia divide by field.
Jobs that name the Philippines or Asia, by field
Customer service (21). Technical support, chat and email support, and phone support. Customer service is also one of the friendliest fields for beginners: three of the entry-level roles open to the Philippines are technical support jobs that name only the Philippines. Our guide to remote customer service jobs goes deeper, and you can browse customer service jobs open to the Philippines.
Data entry and admin (16). Medical administration, executive assistants and virtual assistants. Almost half of all data entry jobs on our site (16 of 33) accept applicants in the Philippines, the highest share of any field. See data entry jobs open to the Philippines.
IT (15). Software, web and support engineering roles that name the Philippines or Asia, on top of the 81 IT jobs open worldwide.
Marketing (13). Social media, growth and paid ads, often for online shops. See marketing jobs open to the Philippines.
AI (6) and writing (3) make up the rest, with one transcription role in data annotation.
What the listings ask for
These are the skills named most often in the 75 jobs that name the Philippines or Asia.
Skills named in jobs that name the Philippines or Asia
English leads by a wide margin, named in 43 of the 75 jobs. Other listings are written in English without naming it, so be ready to show your written and spoken English.
Many of the next skills point to online shops. Shopify, e-commerce, customer support and Microsoft 365 each appear in 9 listings, CRM data entry in 8 and Zendesk, a help desk tool, in 7. Meta Ads appears in 6.
Technical skills follow: JavaScript and APIs (7 each), HTML and CSS (6 each), and SQL (5). For a broader view across all fields, see the skills remote employers ask for.
How much experience you need
Most of these jobs are mid level: 49 of the 75. Seventeen are senior, four are leads and five are entry level. Across all 172 jobs open to the Philippines, nine are entry level.
That sounds hard, but the experience asked for is often modest. Forty of the 75 listings state a number of years. Of those, 29 ask for three years or less: two ask for one year, ten for two years and seventeen for three. Eight ask for five years, and only three ask for more.
If you are starting out, look at customer service first: four of the nine entry-level jobs are there, with one transcription role and four IT roles open worldwide. Data entry has no entry-level roles today, but most ask for three years or less. Count experience that was not remote. A call center, a retail job or office admin work can be relevant, if you describe them as results: customers helped, records processed, tools used. Our article on standing out in a remote application shows how.
What it pays
44 of the 75 jobs that name the Philippines or Asia (59%) print pay. Across all 172 jobs open to the Philippines, only 53 (31%) do, because few of the worldwide jobs show pay.
Pay comes in several currencies and periods, so we group it rather than give one number:
- Monthly in Australian dollars (22 listings, all naming the Philippines): marketing 900 to 4,000 AUD, IT 1,000 to 4,000 AUD, AI 1,200 to 3,000 AUD, data entry 1,300 to 2,000 AUD and customer service 1,200 to 2,200 AUD a month.
- Hourly in US dollars (13 listings): data entry usually pays 5 to 6 USD an hour (six of eight listings), with one role at 6 to 7 and one senior role at 7 to 10. Customer service pays 7 to 9 and 8 to 11 USD. Two AI roles pay 8 to 14 and 20 to 40 USD, and one IT role pays 18 to 25 USD.
- Monthly in US dollars (7 listings): from 1,400 to 1,600 USD for a marketing role up to 3,000 to 6,000 USD for two writing roles and one marketing role.
- Yearly: one customer service role pays 360,000 to 840,000 PHP, and one senior IT role hiring from Asia pays 150,000 to 200,000 USD.
The worldwide jobs pay differently. Eight worldwide data annotation listings print hourly rates from 24 to 100 USD, and one senior IT role prints about 165,000 to 213,000 USD a year. These are open to everyone, so competition is global.
The gap is wide, so check what a listing is really offering: the currency, whether it is hourly or monthly, how many hours a week, and whether you would be an employee or a contractor. For pay in every field, see our remote salaries page and what remote jobs pay.
Working hours
Only 26 of the 75 jobs name a time zone. Of those, 19 follow US time zones (10 of them US Eastern), 3 follow Sydney time and 4 others follow time zones such as UTC.
Time zones matter more than any other detail if you live in the Philippines. A 9 to 5 shift in US Eastern time runs from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning in Manila until 1 November 2026, and from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. after the US clocks change. The same shift in Sydney time runs from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Manila while Sydney is on summer time, and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. from April.
Before you apply, ask which hours you would work, whether shifts rotate, and how holidays are handled.
What to do next
- Start with all jobs open to the Philippines, then filter by field.
- Decide whether you want an Australian-hours role or a US-hours role, then convert each listing's hours to Manila time.
- Make your English easy to judge: a short written summary on your CV, and a clear voice on calls.
- Learn one of the common tools well: Shopify, Zendesk, Microsoft 365 or a CRM.
- Compare pay in the same unit. Turn every offer into pesos per month before you decide.
- Never pay a fee to get a job, and be careful with offers that come through chat apps. Read how remote job scams work and where you can work remotely from.
