The role
Instacart needs a B2B Event Marketing Manager on a six-month contract to run its commercial event calendar, including Cannes Lions, Expo West and Shoptalk Europe. The role is remote under Instacart's Flex First policy.
What you will do
- Execute the B2B event calendar across tradeshows, executive programs and hospitality events on time and on budget
- Produce event creative with marketing, creative and sales teams
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets for each event
- Set up a reporting and measurement framework for event performance
- Manage vendors and contracts, including negotiations and invoicing
What they ask for
- 5 to 10 years of B2B event marketing experience
- Hands-on Cannes Lions experience
- Track record managing high-profile tradeshows and industry events
- Ability to run multiple events at once in a fast-paced setting
- Contract negotiation and vendor invoicing experience
- Ability to travel 2 to 4 times during the contract
- Preferred: Cvent, Salesforce, Google Sheets or Excel, and eCommerce, AdTech or CPG events
