Discord is hiring an engineering manager to lead its Notifications team, which runs the platform behind every notification the app sends. Remote within the United States.
What you will do
- Lead a team of full-stack engineers on the notifications platform
- Set technical direction for notifications infrastructure
- Use experiments and metrics to improve engagement
- Hire and coach engineers
What they ask for
- 5+ years as a software engineer on backend or infrastructure systems at scale
- 2+ years as an engineering manager
- Production experience with Elixir, Python, pubsub pipelines and Kubernetes
- Experience working with product, design and data science
