The role
TransPerfect is looking for freelance English copy-editors to adapt school maths textbooks for English-learning students in Vietnam. The work is remote for candidates in the EMEA region, at 6-8 hours a day during set project weeks.
What you will do
- Edit textbook manuscripts for sense, consistency and cultural sensitivity
- Tag content for translation and check artwork logs
- Deliver tracked and clean manuscripts with a completed query log
What they ask for
- Native or native-level English
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years teaching English to young learners
- 3+ years of copy-editing experience
- Availability of 6-8 hours a day during the project weeks
- Knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus
