The role
Thumbtack's Business Applications team is hiring a Full-Stack Engineer for its internal AI platform. The role builds the interfaces and services that let business teams configure, review and audit AI agents working in internal systems such as Salesforce.
What you will do
- Build interfaces for business teams to configure agents, review work and approve or correct actions
- Build observability and evaluation tooling that shows how agents behaved and whether changes helped
- Work across the stack from React and TypeScript to services and data models
- Partner with business teams and turn operational problems into working software
- Own features through launch, monitoring and post-launch improvement
What they ask for
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong React and TypeScript, including complex state and data-dense interfaces
- Solid backend ability; the team uses Go, PHP and Python
- Working knowledge of Postgres, DynamoDB or similar data stores
- Product judgment on what to build and what to cut
- Interest in non-deterministic systems and designing for human correction
