Thumbtack is hiring a software engineer for its ML Infrastructure team, building systems that let product teams train, serve and scale AI applications. The role is remote in Canada, with pay listed for Ontario and British Columbia.
What you will do
- Build core AI platform capabilities used across Thumbtack
- Develop tooling for model training, serving, CI/CD and evaluation
- Work across backend services and integrations with AI models
- Help evaluate new AI infrastructure frameworks
What they ask for
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as Postgres or DynamoDB
- Comfort learning new technologies in a fast-paced environment
