The role
Tecsys, a Toronto-listed provider of cloud supply chain software for healthcare and distribution, is hiring an infrastructure reliability engineer for its network and security operations centre. The role covers AWS and Kubernetes platform reliability, observability and incident management.
What you will do
- Support services before launch through design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews.
- Monitor availability, latency and system health, and expand alerting and dashboards in Datadog with SLOs and SLIs.
- Improve IaC and pipelines (Terraform, GitLab CI/CD) to reduce manual work.
- Act as incident commander, run post-incident reviews and drive long-term fixes.
- Maintain technical documentation and apply SRE best practices.
What they ask for
- Strong SRE, cloud or DevOps experience in SaaS or large-scale production environments.
- Strong AWS (multi-account, VPC, EC2, EKS) and Kubernetes at scale.
- Infrastructure as code with Terraform or Ansible.
- CI/CD experience, preferably GitLab; Jenkins is acceptable.
- Datadog or equivalent observability tools.
- Scripting in Python, Bash or Java; basic Java or .NET knowledge.
- Written and spoken English for working with people outside Quebec.
- Willing to join on-call rotation and travel under 10 percent.
