The role
Pinterest is hiring an engineering manager to lead its Kubernetes Platform team, which runs the infrastructure engineers use to deploy services. The role is remote for US-based applicants, with office visits one or two times per quarter.
What you will do
- Lead engineers responsible for the Kubernetes platform
- Set the team's strategy and roadmap
- Improve platform reliability, security and efficiency
- Drive architecture decisions
What they ask for
- 3+ years managing engineering teams in infrastructure, platform or SRE
- Experience with public cloud, distributed systems and Kubernetes
- Experience setting multi-quarter technical strategy
- Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent experience
- Amazon EKS or GKE experience preferred
