Pinterest Labs is hiring a staff machine learning engineer to research and ship generative recommendation and reinforcement learning systems. Remote anywhere in the US, with office visits one or two times a quarter.
What you will do
- Drive research and architecture for generative recommendation
- Deploy reinforcement learning solutions to production
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with external researchers
What they ask for
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience
- Large-scale recommendation systems and reinforcement learning
- Technical leadership turning research into production
- Publications at top ML conferences
- In-office collaboration 1-2 times per quarter
