The role
CloudFactory is hiring an MLOps Support Engineer, an operations-first role that keeps AI/ML systems stable and observable in production. It provides Tier 1 and 2 support for US-based customers from Nepal or Colombia, on shifts with rotational on-call.
What you will do
- Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support for AI/ML solutions and escalate to Tier 3 Engineering
- Monitor data pipelines, model runs and performance metrics, and spot failed or degraded jobs
- Triage incidents, support rollback and recovery, and alert customers about model outages
- Maintain runbooks and operational documentation
- Check for model drift and compare champion and challenger models
- Prepare quarterly business reviews on model health
What they ask for
- Experience in operations, DevOps, SRE or platform support
- Strong troubleshooting skills in production
- SQL and scripting in Python or Bash
- Familiarity with cloud ML services on AWS, GCP or Azure
- Solid Git knowledge
- Comfortable working from runbooks
- Nepal: coverage 07:45-16:45 NPT in 8-hour shift blocks; Colombia: 9am-9pm Colombia time, plus on-call
- Nice to have: Grafana, MLflow, Databricks, Kubernetes, LLM prompt troubleshooting
