The role
The company is recruiting a senior backend developer for a client building secure, scalable microservices. The role is hands-on in Java and Spring Boot, with ownership of AWS infrastructure and CI/CD.
What you will do
- Develop core business logic in Java with Spring Boot
- Architect, deploy and manage back-end infrastructure on AWS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Design secure, well-documented RESTful APIs for front-end use
- Write, debug and review production code
What they ask for
- 5+ years as a back-end developer at senior, hands-on level
- Expert Java and extensive Spring Boot enterprise experience
- Deep practical experience with AWS services
- Infrastructure as Code experience, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- DevOps background with scripting in Bash or Python and CI/CD
- SQL and NoSQL database expertise and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes or ECS
