The role
The company is hiring a senior full-stack engineer for its Internal Applications team, which builds tools used by annotators, ML researchers and product managers to help create better models. The company calls itself remote-friendly and has offices in several cities.
What you will do
- Build user-facing internal tools, writing code for both browsers and servers
- Pair with colleagues, share architecture designs, documentation and talks
- Find and remove roadblocks to raise the team's engineering velocity
- Build resilient systems that are mission-critical
- Adopt new technologies that improve performance and reliability
What they ask for
- Experience shipping products with many stakeholders
- Comfortable on both front end and back end, with Next.js, TypeScript, React and Python
- Hands-on experience with complex SQL queries
- Strong communication and a habit of using documentation to discuss designs
- Ability to explain complex needs and goals simply to different audiences
