The role
The company is hiring a Platform Engineer for its Edge & Networking squad, which owns the API gateway, routing, load balancing, DNS and global traffic distribution. The work is building and running a global edge router platform. The role is fully remote.
What you will do
- Help build and maintain the company Cloud and design its global edge router platform
- Build API-driven routing logic that steers customer traffic dynamically
- Work with DNS, WAF, IP networking, TLS termination, CDN integrations and global load balancing
- Implement observability: metrics, logs, latency measurement and routing health
- Design CI/CD systems with proper release management
- Join on-call rotations and incident reviews and resolve escalated support issues
What they ask for
- 5+ years in SRE, DevOps or cloud infrastructure
- 4+ years building and running high-scale networking or edge infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS certificates, CDN internals and load balancing
- Experience with proxies such as Envoy, NGINX, HAProxy or Traefik
- Strong software engineering skills in Go
- Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure and infrastructure as code (Pulumi preferred)
- On-call experience with large production systems
- Knowledge of IPv6, BGP or Anycast
