The role
The company is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a team of two infrastructure engineers running the platform all the company engineers ship on. The work covers production reliability, CI/CD, progressive delivery and developer tooling. The company is remote-first and prefers 4+ hours overlap with EMEA, but is open to candidates anywhere.
What you will do
- Own day-to-day reliability of the production platform across EKS, ArgoCD and AWS, including autoscaling and incident response
- Implement Argo Rollouts with clean rollback paths so bad deploys are reverted quickly
- Evolve developer tooling, including per-PR staging environments and CLI tools, treating it as a product
- Use AI to automate low-risk operational workflows
- Drive upgrades of Node.js, Python, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm and Terraform-managed resources, and own infra-side vulnerabilities
- Reduce observability and cloud costs through Datadog, AWS rightsizing and log filtering work
What they ask for
- Deep infrastructure experience with Kubernetes, AWS and Terraform
- Experience running CI/CD pipelines and production incident response
- Infra-as-a-product mindset, with interest in developer experience
- Ability to take part in on-call (a week-long shift about once a quarter)
- Preference for at least 4 hours of overlap with EMEA time zones
- Willingness to travel to meet the team in person once or twice a year
What they offer
- Fully distributed, remote-first team
- In-person team gatherings once or twice a year
