The role
The company is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Security Platform Engineering team, which builds platforms for secrets and key management, identity, onchain security, policy and vulnerability management. The company is remote-first, with quarterly in-person working sessions.
What you will do
- Architect and build the platform used by the security platform engineering org
- Build new backend services in Go or Java for product and business needs
- Design scalable systems using modern cloud technology
- Set technical structure and strategic roadmaps with management and stakeholders
- Review feature designs across the company for security, scale and operability
- Mentor engineers on design techniques and coding standards

- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, including service-oriented architecture
- Strong system design and coding skills
- Writes well-tested, high-quality code and debugs hard technical problems
- Strong written and verbal communication
