The role
The company is hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer, iOS or Android, to build the North AI workspace app used by customers in regulated industries. Security and privacy rules limit which libraries can be used. The company is remote-friendly.
What you will do
- Build and ship features for the North AI workspace app
- Implement interface elements with UI/UX designers
- Write custom code where security and privacy rules rule out popular libraries or tooling
- Work with researchers to put new models and techniques into production
- Research new technologies and best practices
What they ask for
- Extensive experience with Swift and SwiftUI, or Kotlin with Jetpack Compose
- Built native apps for AI companies or apps with many users
- Able to read, understand and fix issues outside the main codebase
- Experience bootstrapping new projects
- Comfortable when priorities keep changing
- Bonus: audio features in apps
