The role
The company is hiring a Data Engineer for its Analytics & Data Insights team, working on data foundations for the company's enterprise AI business. You will partner with research, marketing, sales and finance. The company is remote-friendly with offices in several cities.
What you will do
- Build and run production data processing systems for the company's analytics
- Turn unstructured data into performant datasets in relational databases and blob storage
- Run implementations end-to-end and follow initiatives through to outcomes
- Work with research, marketing, sales and finance so that your recommendations feed into products and strategy
- Collaborate daily with researchers and engineers on new customer experiences built on the company's models
What they ask for
- 5+ years working on production-grade data processing systems
- Strong Python and SQL
- Experience with distributed frameworks such as Apache Beam, Spark or Flink and large-scale data system design
- Familiarity with BigQuery, Airflow or dbt
- Interest in AI and comfort building something new
- Nice to have: Java or Go, and Kubernetes
