The role
The company is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Dedicated Platform Integration team, which integrates third-party and modular features into the Dedicated hosted SaaS platform. The job combines hands-on technical depth with running large-scale distributed services.
What you will do
- Run the team's delivery with quality and speed in partnership with the product manager
- Keep Dedicated infrastructure at three or more nines of availability while automating for scale and tenant count
- Give clear direction and feedback, and push to automate toil and enforce DevOps ownership
- Improve platforms so feature developers can own production themselves
- Recruit, onboard and develop team members
- Lead incident management and prioritize work using data on impact, risk and technical debt
What they ask for
- Proven record building and owning large-scale distributed services, with enough depth to guide architecture
- Fleet management experience with Terraform, AWS and automated provisioning at scale (20+ clusters)
- Experience owning services with four-nines (99.99%) SLOs
- Experience using AI tools to improve team productivity
- History of building accountable, high-performing teams
- Ability to drive complex projects without a dedicated TPM
- Experience leading distributed remote teams
