The role
The company is hiring a Senior IT Engineer for its Device Infrastructure Services team to run cloud-based Apple device management and endpoint patching for a SaaS security company. The role is remote within Canada and the US.
What you will do
- Lead planning and delivery of large device infrastructure projects across the organization
- Administer cloud-based Apple MDM (Iru), including custom configuration profiles and advanced policies
- Own third-party software patching workflows that keep the device fleet current with little disruption
- Run IT change management for endpoint management, patching and fleet operations
- Apply AI tooling to device operations problems such as automated remediation and smarter alerting
- Join occasional 24/7 on-call shifts and help define team policies and procedures
What they ask for
- 5+ years in IT, including 2+ years as an IT engineer or sysadmin focused on cloud-first endpoint management
- Senior-level experience with Apple MDM platforms such as Iru
- Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD experience applied to device management across a fleet of 500+ endpoints
- Professional Bash scripting for endpoint automation and fleet operations
- Experience building automation with agentic or LLM components in an IT context
- Hands-on device trust work: phishing-resistant authentication, conditional access and compliance policies
- Nice to have: ITIL, Microsoft Intune admin, PowerShell, the company EPM
