The role

The company is hiring a Release Engineer with an SRE mindset in its Release Engineering team to make deploys safe, observable and recoverable. The role treats deployment pipelines and the control plane as production systems with SLOs and on-call. It is fully remote.

What you will do

  • Own the reliability of the company's deployment and release systems against SLOs and error budgets
  • Make pre-production a trustworthy signal by standardizing and instrumenting deployment workflows
  • Drive disaster-recovery readiness, including environments that can be deployed from scratch
  • Build SLO monitoring and synthetic tests for critical user flows
  • Join on-call, lead blameless postmortems and turn findings into runbooks, alerts and automation
  • Improve deployment observability and document break-glass paths and access models

What they ask for

  • 5+ years in SRE, production operations, platform engineering or release engineering
  • Experience operating production systems at scale and carrying on-call
  • Fluency in SLAs, SLOs, error budgets and DORA metrics, plus tooling like Prometheus, Grafana or Alertmanager
  • Experience leading incident response with tools such as incident.io, PagerDuty or Opsgenie
  • Confident with AWS (multiple accounts, IAM, VPC) in production
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform) and Kubernetes
  • Comfortable in async, globally distributed teams

What they offer

  • Fully remote with global hiring and a co-working allowance
  • Equity (ESOP) for every team member
  • Tech allowance for home office equipment
  • Health insurance covered 100% for employees and 80% for dependents
  • Annual education allowance and annual company off-site
  • Asynchronous, flexible working hours
