The role
The company is hiring a Senior Developer for its Open Source Team, which works on the company's open source posture and on agentic IDE integrations such as Agent Hooks and IDE plugins. You will act as a technical leader on the team. The role is remote within Canada and the US.
What you will do
- Contribute major features, improvements and bug fixes, such as extending Agent Hooks across IDEs
- Make architecture decisions that keep integrations and public repositories scalable and secure
- Identify technical opportunities and risks about six months out and lead execution
- Raise quality by finding code quality lapses and test coverage gaps
- Engage with external contributors in public repositories
What they ask for
- Significant professional experience independently owning and delivering medium-to-large projects end to end
- Advanced command of the development toolchain: Git, IDEs, terminal, debugging and testing tools
- Experience designing extensible systems, ideally developer tools, IDE extensions, agent integrations or open source projects
- Ability to set technical direction and make architectural decisions
- Experience working in public with external contributors
- Interest in agent-assisted development and a security-minded approach
- Based in Canada or the US
- Bonus: maintaining a popular open source project, agentic IDEs such as Cursor, OSPO experience
