The role
The company is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Switchboard team, which builds the tenant management control panel for the company Dedicated. The team spans frontend, backend and reliability engineers. All the company roles are remote, with some location limits.
What you will do
- Lead the full-stack Switchboard team and set direction for the customer-facing control panel
- Hire and develop the team
- Plan priorities, dependencies and quarterly delivery with the Product Manager
- Work with Product and Design on wireframes and UI direction
- Coordinate frontend, backend, UX and technical writing work
- Drive improvements in quality, security and performance

- Track record building and owning large-scale distributed services
- Experience with fleet management products using Terraform, Kubernetes and AWS at 20+ cluster scale
- Have owned services running at 99.99% SLOs
- Experience using AI tooling to improve team productivity
- Experience building accountable, high-performing teams, including managing out when needed
- Able to drive complex projects without a dedicated TPM
- Experience leading distributed, remote teams
