The role
The company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer on its Cloud Engineering team to build and maintain its Internal Developer Infrastructure Platform. The work covers CI/CD, observability and Kubernetes optimization. Hiring ranges are listed for Canada.
What you will do
- Support the infrastructure development teams use to run their services
- Build platform features for CI/CD, observability, environment bootstrapping and cost optimization
- Create Claude skills and agentic workflows that improve developer productivity
- Guide technical decisions and promote engineering standards
- Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies and platform functionality
- Resolve unclear but urgent tasks
What they ask for
- 5+ years in software engineering with focus on platform engineering, cloud, SRE or DevOps
- Technical leadership experience
- Expertise in several of ArgoCD, Grafana, Kubernetes, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage and cloud cost optimization
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript or Go
- Cloud-native experience, GCP preferred and AWS acceptable
- Strong communication skills
