The role
The company is hiring a Senior Developer for its Device Security squad in Product Security, building security features for its Windows and other apps and shared security-critical libraries. The role is remote within Canada and the US.
What you will do
- Implement new security features and shared secure libraries across the company applications
- Resolve security vulnerabilities in products and promote secure coding practices
- Help scope and plan security design work for new features
- Write, test, debug and maintain production software
- Work with Design, QA and security engineering on design and secure coding guidance
- Mentor junior team members, including through pair programming, and review code
What they ask for
- 4+ years of software development with a security angle, including encryption libraries or authentication protocols
- 4+ years of hands-on Windows security development in Rust, C#, C/C++, Go or TypeScript
- Rust experience with FFI interfaces, especially on Windows, and knowledge of Windows OS architecture
- Familiarity with TPM and HSM, and Windows Hello, BitLocker, Secure Boot and Credential Guard
- Understanding of cryptography, network security, application security and access control
- Practical knowledge of agentic AI workflows
- Based in Canada or the US
