The role
The company is hiring a back-end leaning Senior Developer for its Growth Team, building self-serve experiences and the systems behind product growth and experimentation. Remote within Canada and the US.
What you will do
- Shape the experimentation platform: feature flags, instrumentation, data quality and reporting
- Design and implement experiments that drive activation, engagement and expansion
- Work with product, design and data to refine hypotheses and read results
- Balance fast iteration with architectural health and security
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions
- Find technical opportunities that unlock new growth mechanisms
What they ask for
- 5+ years of professional software development in a production SaaS environment
- Strong backend experience in a language such as Go, Node.js, Ruby or Python
- Deep experience with React and/or TypeScript in customer-facing web apps
- Understanding of instrumentation, analytics and defining success metrics
- Able to work autonomously and influence technical direction
- Based in Canada or the US
