The role
The company is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a frontend-focused team working on its collaborative Docs product. The role is hands-on, combining technical guidance with team management at an AI-native company.
What you will do
- Give hands-on technical guidance on architecture, design and software practices.
- Lead, mentor and grow a team of engineers.
- Drive new features and enhancements with attention to performance and reliability.
- Work with product managers, designers and other engineering teams on priorities.
- Oversee code reviews and keep the Docs platform stable, addressing technical debt.
What they ask for
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Node.js, relational databases and at least one modern frontend framework.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Track record managing and scaling engineering teams.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Daily use of AI is expected.
