The role
The company is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead its Mobile Development Productivity team, which owns the tooling used to build, test and release the company's mobile apps and SDKs. The team also makes AI agents effective in mobile development.
What you will do
- Hire, coach and grow a team of engineers
- Set the team's technical strategy, goals and roadmap
- Work with mobile product and infrastructure teams to find shared development problems and align on reusable solutions
- Guide architecture decisions on development environments, CI, automated testing and secure build and release systems
- Set standards for reliability, security and operational rigor
- Use developer productivity, build performance and release health measures to guide investments
What they ask for
- 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years managing engineers
- Experience leading teams that build platforms or tools used by other engineers
- Ability to define technical strategy and turn ambiguous goals into a roadmap
- Record of hiring, coaching and developing engineers
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Preferred: experience with iOS, Android, React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform or CI and build infrastructure
