What you will do
- Lead technical initiatives that increase employee engagement and the company's consumer footprint
- Design solutions that anticipate future needs and weigh tradeoffs

- Work with Design, Product and engineers on full-stack applications
- Raise the engineering bar for the team and company
- Use AI tools to improve the development workflow

- 8+ years of back-end experience in Java, Kotlin or another object-oriented language
- Modern API design (TypeScript, REST, GraphQL) and relational or alternative data stores such as PostgreSQL or DynamoDB
- Ability to design high-level solutions while staying close to code and system performance
- Technical leadership and cross-team influence
- Track record of partnering with product, customer success and other stakeholders
- Customer empathy and a high bar for quality
